Coronation Street legend Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) was left reeling in recent scenes after learning that dad Les had died.

She was heartbroken when a police officer revealed that he had been killed in an accident at work, and warned Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) that she wanted to break the news to sister Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) in person.

However, she was later gutted to learn that Nick had already told Toyah over the phone, despite her specific instructions.

When Toyah leapt to Nick’s defence, Leanne grew suspicious, and later set about trying to figure out exactly what was going on between the pair of them.

Having formed a plan to catch the pair out, Leanne rang up the hotel Nick had booked for his upcoming holiday, before heading to the Chariot Square hotel, where Toyah was staying.

As she watched Toyah from across the bar, she got a call back from the hotel confirming that Nick had booked a double room for him and Toyah.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Leanne was shocked to see Nick approach Toyah at the bar, before heading upstairs with her.

Leanne was left completely heartbroken by their betrayal, and was later found distraught beside Oliver’s tree by Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), who took her for a drink in the Rovers.

When Leanne revealed what Nick and Toyah had been up to, Tracy was horrified, and insisted that Leanne should remember that she is a Battersby and make sure they don’t get away with it.

Having taken Tracy’s advice, Leanne headed to Nick’s flat, where she asked him if she could move in until after the funeral.

Despite having already promised Toyah a room, Nick agreed.

When Tracy saw Leanne heading toward the flat, she was horrified, but Leanne assured her that she was ‘nobody’s fool’. What is Leanne up to?
