Coronation Street icon made homeless as family turn on her after shock betrayal

Could an exit from the cobbles be in the works?

CORONATION Street icon Tracy Barlow has been made homeless after her family kicked her out over her affair.

The killer florist – who is played by actress Kate Ford in the ITV soap – ended her marriage to Steve McDonald after he discovered her affair with former footballer Tommy Orpington.

Viewers watched earlier this week as Tracy finally told Steve she didn’t love him anymore and that he deserved better than her.

But tonight in Coronation Street, her magnanimity had run out and she wanted Steve (Simon Gregson) to move out.

However, with them both bizarrely living with her dad Ken Barlow (William Roache), that wasn’t her choice.

And as Ken overheard Steve’s troubles finding somewhere new to live and how he had begged Tracy to take him back, he took action and invited him back home.

As they walked in Tracy sniped: “Have you found somewhere to live?”

“How can you be so heartless?” Ken said adding: “I’ve offered him the sofa for tonight.”

But Tracy said: “It’s a bit weird him being here if we’re not together.”

At first Steve agreed to leave and find a hotel but Ken put his foot down.

He told Tracy: “You’re the one who had the affair, you’re the one who wrecked the marriage, you should be moving out.

“I don’t think you and your football playing boyfriend have made plans but I suggest you start by trying to find somewhere more suitable to live.”

“I’m not going anywhere,” insisted Tracy but then daughter Amy (Elle Mulvaney) chimed in telling her to go.

She told her mother: “You turned this family upside down, dad stays.”

But where will Tracy go and will she be left on the streets?

Could she decide to move away from Corrie once and for all, maybe with Tommy?

As an exit storyline seems to be teased, actor Matt Milburn spoke about what could be ahead for his character Tommy.

And due to Tracy’s murderous past, he admitted his on-screen alter ego should “tread carefully.”

“I think he needs to really tread carefully with her”, Matt said.

“I think he needs to be a little bit careful. I don’t know if he does know about that. I’m not sure Tommy does know the full history there.”

Could Tracy’s dark side make a return?

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
