Carla Connor and Lisa Swain’s love exposed as they are caught together in Coronation Street
Carla Connor (Alison King) and DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) have finally made things official in Coronation Street, after months of speculation from fans.
After the pair spent a passionate morning together, things fell apart when Lisa decided that she couldn’t commit to a relationship, leaving Carla heartbroken.
However, when Carla was rushed in for emergency surgery after being attacked in the factory, things were put into perspective for Lisa, and with a little push from Roy Cropper (David Neilson), she finally revealed her true feelings.
The women were quick to inform Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) of the new development in their relationship, though in upcoming scenes it appears that Carla is keen to keep it on the down-low.
When Lisa and Carla head to the Chariot Square Hotel for a spa day, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is quick to comment on how nice it is to see friends enjoying the spa together.
How will Lisa react when Carla fails to correct her assumption?
The next day, Lisa attempts to hide her discomfort when she discovers that Carla has a meeting at the Bistro with a very handsome client.
When she spots them flirting, will she let her jealousy get the better of her?
Later that week, disaster strikes at the factory when Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) attempts to plug in the Christmas lights and ends up causing a powercut.
With no other option, Carla gives the factory lot the afternoon off, and soon Kirk, Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) and Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) head to the Rovers.
Unfortunately, they get chucked out for bringing in their own alcohol, but Bobby saves the party by suggesting they join him back at the flat.
However, unbeknown to him, Carla has also chosen to make the most of the afternoon off, by spending it in bed with Lisa.
When Lisa emerges from the bedroom in her dressing gown and comes face to face with a shocked Kirk, Fiz and Bobby, will the truth come out about her relationship with Carla?
