Coronation Street fans are speculating that Daisy Midgeley could be in for a surprise pregnancy twist – and Daniel Osbourne isn’t the father.
Daisy, played by Charlotte Jordan, arrived on the cobbles in 2020 as Jenny Connor’s (Sally Ann Matthews) stepdaughter and quickly became a fan favourite. Daisy has been at the centre of several major storylines. In 2023, she was embroiled in a distressing acid attack plot which resulted in Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) suffering life-altering injuries while trying to protect her.
Daisy’s romantic life has also been fraught with complications. She was once engaged to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), but cheated on him with Ryan. The truth eventually surfaced, and Daniel has since moved on with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon). However, their relationship has been strained recently due to Bethany’s botched cosmetic surgery.
Meanwhile, Daisy has started a new relationship with soap newcomer and corrupt police officer Kit Green (Jacob Roberts). But this week, the plot thickened when Daisy ended up sleeping with Daniel, reports Lancs Live.

Before their unexpected sexual encounter, Daisy covered for Daniel after witnessing him steal Debbie Webster’s (Sue Devaney) new car and crash it. To shield him, Daisy assured Daniel she would handle the situation and did her best to hide any evidence.
After the drama, Daisy and Daniel ended up getting cosy between the sheets, but Daniel quickly felt remorseful, leaving Daisy with a broken heart. And in ‘true’ soap opera style, viewers are betting it won’t be long before Daisy has a bun in the oven.

While many fans are pointing at Daniel as the potential baby daddy, some Corrie buffs have their suspicions about another bloke from the street. Chiming in on a Coronation Street Facebook group, someone posted: “Daisy will find out she’s pregnant in a few weeks isn’t she? “.
Eager commenters jumped in with one saying: “Yup, but I don’t want it to be Daniel.” Another pitched in: “I would say Kit. We didn’t see them sleep together but it could have easily happened.” Yet another viewer declared: “Knowing the writers probably!”
