Coronation Street resident quizzed by police over knife crime in new spoiler video
A move made by Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) returns to haunt him in upcoming Coronation Street episodes as this new video sees the moment his house is searched for a knife.
A few weeks ago, school bully Mason (Luca Toolan) pulled a knife on Liam (Charlie Wrenshall), and that’s something that comes out soon when the teen finally tells Maria (Samia Longchambon) and Gary (Mikey North).
Following horrific bullying by Mason, Dylan and their gang, Liam is now seeking help for his mental health after contemplating ending his life. As well as opening up about his state of mind, Liam has also slowly revealed details about the hell he went through at the hands of the gang.
Once Liam tells Maria and Gary about the knife, they take him to the police to report the crime, and it’s not long before Craig (Colson Smith) arrives to do a house search.
In this new video, as Craig enters, Sean (Antony Cotton), Dylan and Eileen (Sue Cleaver) are all shocked to learn about the development.
Craig explains there’s a chance a zombie knife is being hidden in their home. When attention turns to Dylan again, Eileen and Sean look stunned to be faced with the fact he has possibly hidden a dangerous weapon.
But will he finally realise that the only way out is to tell the police everything he knows about Mason – including that it was the bully who was driving the car when Eliza Woodrow (Savannah Kunyo) was hurt in a hit and run incident?
Luca Toolan told us it was a prospect that would scare Mason deep down.
‘The way it was written was that Mason wasn’t too bothered about the hit and run coming out,’ he explained.
‘But I tried to play it in a way that he came across like he wasn’t bothered but deep down, internally, he was. It’s all a facade with Mason. I don’t think he’s a proper hard-man really, is he?
‘He’s putting on this show, this bravado, but deep down he’s just a scared little boy.’
