Coronation Street fans are speculating that Cassie Plummer’s days are numbered, and they believe they’ve figured out who’s responsible.
Cassie (played by Claire Sweeney) made her debut on the cobbles in 2023 as Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) estranged mother, quickly becoming a beloved character embroiled in drama.
Recently, Cassie stunned viewers when she began poisoning Ken Barlow (Will Roache). The two formed an unexpected bond when Ken required care after a fall and injury.
However, in November, Ken reassessed his finances and decided to let Cassie go. Unwilling to lose her only income, Cassie started medicating Ken to keep him sick.

As viewers will remember, Daisy is currently pregnant and unsure if Daniel or Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is the father. After overhearing a private conversation between Daisy and Daniel about the situation, Cassie used this information to her advantage.

One viewer proposed a tiny vigilante: “Bertie!” they wrote, with another fan in agreement, “Was thinking the same!” Others suggest Daisy could be the one sending Cassie to her demise, with remarks such as “Daisy? She’s leaving this year and could get sent to prison for Cassie’s murder.”
