Coronation Street police make chilling discovery in Lauren Bolton’s flat
THE police have a shocking suspect in Lauren's disappearance
CORONATION Street police have made a chilling discovery in missing Lauren Bolton’s flat.
The teenager – who is played by actress Cait Fitton in the ITV soap – disappeared from her flat last month after receiving a shock visitor.
Her flat was left in a state with a freshly-prepared bacon sandwich left untouched on the side.
It appeared that Lauren had disappeared in a hurry.
Viewers watched last week as Lauren’s former boss Roy Cropper stepped in to clean up the flat for pal Evelyn so she wouldn’t lose her security deposit.
Roy had convinced her into letting Lauren sublet the flat so she would have somewhere to live.
However she fell behind on her rent and when Roy was forced to sack her for stealing from customer Bethany Platt’s purse, Lauren was left destitute.
He took round her wages and gave her some extra as she told him she was planning to leave Weatherfield for a new life elsewhere.
But tonight that money was found in the flat by police.
They had been forced into action after Sean Tully discovered a large dodgy-looking stain in the flat when he was viewing it as a potential new home.
Last week Roy bagged up her belongings, collected all the rubbish and tried to thoroughly clean the grotty flat.
Bobby caught him and became suspicious but he was quickly shut down when he tried to make those suspicions public with the community defending Roy.
And with the discovery of the large stain getting back to Carla, she began to wonder if there was more to Lauren’s disappearance than a simple runaway.
She went to the police station and read them the riot act, forcing them to take Bobby’s claims seriously.
It worked and the police searched the flat and discovered that the large stain was indeed blood.
Does this mean Lauren is dead? And has Roy secretly become a killer after years of being on the cobbles?
