Celebrity Big Brother star Jack P Shepherd drops Coronation Street bombshell that leaves housemates creasing

Celebrity Big Brother star Jack P Shepherd has dropped a bombshell about a Coronation Street legend that has had his fellow housemates in stitches.

The David Platt actor was part of a discussion about the longest-serving soap stars with EastEnders’ Bianca Jackson actress Patsy Palmer.

As Patsy revealed that June Brown, who played Dot Cotton in the BBC soap, worked well into her 90s, Jack pointed out that William Roache, who is still filming as Ken Barlow, is 93.

Their fellow housemates were amazed, and keen to hear stories about the familiar faces.

It was then that Jack revealed that, despite having worked together for 25 years, Bill still calls him David!

The revelation came after Jack horrified housemates by suggesting that Bill could have died during their time in the house and he wouldn’t know.

(He hasn’t, Bill is fine!)

The housemates argued that he would have been told, given that they’d worked together for so long, which was when Jack pointed out that the Ken Barlow legend still doesn’t call him Jack.

He then did an hilarious impression of the actor, which left housemates creasing.

Bill is still going strong

At 93, Bill is still involved in some huge storylines on Coronation Street.

His character Ken recently uncovered Cassie Plummer’s (Claire Sweeney) plot to poison him, after suffering a heart attack.

Cassie had been working for him as his carer and wanted to keep him ill so that he would still rely on her and she would be able to keep her job.

However, things took an even more sinister turn when she began stealing from him.

It was only a matter of time before her secret was out and she had been cast out from the community, while Ken made a full recovery.

Actor Bill was recently handed a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on the cobbles.
