Coronation Street enthusiasts are stunned after discovering where Debbie Webster resides -and it’s not at the Chariot Square Hotel.
Debbie (Sue Devaney) made her debut on the soap in 1984 as Kevin’s sister (Michael Le Vell). She exited a year later, only to make a comeback in 2019.
It’s safe to say that Debbie, who took over the Chariot Square hotel a few years back, has won over fans. However, she was recently diagnosed with vascular dementia on the show.
After noticing concerning symptoms such as forgetfulness and work errors, Debbie underwent dementia tests. Things took a frightening turn when she started experiencing blackouts, one of which resulted in a fall.

Following her shocking diagnosis – a secret she’s kept from everyone except her brother Carl (Jonathan Howard), Debbie ended up breaking off her engagement to Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), reports Leicestershire Live.
In heart-wrenching scenes, Debbie shattered Ronnie’s heart by calling off their engagement and claiming she no longer loved him, leaving Ronnie distraught.
Since then, Ronnie has been puzzled by Debbie’s abrupt change of heart about their relationship, while she has immersed herself in work, much to Carl’s worry.

However, amidst all the current drama surrounding Debbie, fans have just discovered that Debbie doesn’t actually live at her hotel, The Chariot Square Hotel.
The famed hotel has been gracing our screens since 2018 and has played a central role in recent heart-wrenching storylines, particularly with Debbie at the helm. She took ownership back in 2021 and has since turned the place into a buzzing success.
However, eagle-eyed fans are scratching their heads over where Debbie actually hangs her hat. The Corrie Facebook gossip mills are whirring, with one fan pondering, “Just wondering where does Debbie live?”
In response, fellow soap aficionados have dished out their theories in the comments, stating that Debbie and Ronnie reside in an elusive flat. One viewer remarked: “I thought that when I watched yesterday. I think she and Ronnie have a flat.”
Speculation continued to mount with another chiming in, “Debbie and Ronnie live together! ? Why have we never seen their place?” A curious comment followed: “They moved in together in 2023 I think.”
