Coronation Street fans were quick to declare that Emma Watts star Angela Lonsdale “hasn’t aged at all” following a heartwarming reunion with an ITV colleague.
The 57 year old actress, who portrayed the role of police officer Emma on the beloved ITV soap from 2000 to 2003 and was hitched to the iconic Curly Watts, has been a familiar face on our screens ever since.
Angela’s post-Corrie career has seen her grace shows like Holby City, Doctors, This Is England ’90, Our Girl, The Syndicate, and Hollyoaks, among others.
Recently, Angela caught up with her old Coronation Street mate, Sally Dynevor, who continues to tread the cobbles as Sally Metcalfe. They were joined by Sally’s offspring, Hattie Dynevor, who’s currently playing Libby Guthrie in Waterloo Road.

Taking to social media, Angela shared: “Wishing you The Happiest Birthday my beautiful angel @sallydynevor , Thank you for being the Best Friend anyone could wish for ! Have the most wonderful time with @dynevortim ! Love you with all my heart and soul #birthdaylove #bestfriend #happybirthday #wecomeasone.”, reports Belfast Live.
Fans flocked to her Instagram to shower her with compliments, with one user exclaiming: “You really haven’t changed a bit darling.”

Another chimed in: “You really haven’t aged at all wow beautiful both inside and out”, someone else reminisced: “You’ve hardly changed since I met you 35 years ago” and yet another echoed: “You really haven’t changed a bit darling.”
Overwhelmed by the affectionate comments, Angela responded: “Corrie Legend and Not aged a day. Well ill take that any day of the week.”
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Angela was back with her old pals, including Sally, Denise Welch – who played Natalie Barnes from 1997 to 2000 – and current Maria Connor actress Samia Longchambon.

Loose Women’s Denise, aged 67, took to Instagram to share a photo with the caption: “Back with the girls again!”.
Angela stays well connected with her past co-stars, and in 2023, she shared a delightful reunion photo with her on-screen Corrie hubby, Curly Watts actor Kevin Kennedy.
Posting the adorable picture on Instagram, Angela wrote: “Reunited with my corrie hubby @realkevinkennedy Break a leg pet! @rockofagesmusicaluk.”
Soap fans were over the moon about the catch-up, with one follower exclaiming: “You both look the same! Loved you both in Corrie. Wish you could come back xx” and another chimed in with: “Bring back you two ! We need you in Corrie!”
