Coronation Street Lauren star goes Instagram official with boyfriend: ‘My man’
Coronation Street’s Cait Fitton has shared the news she has a new boyfriend.
The star, 23, has played the role of Lauren Bolton since 2022. Despite only being on the show for a couple of years, she has become a much-loved member of the cast.
Recently, Cait took to Instagram to pay tribute to her boyfriend on his 23rd birthday. The star shared a variety of black and white pictures of her and partner, who she is choosing not to name.
‘A day celebrating with you’, she wrote alongside the loving pictures.
‘Happy birthday to my man. Thank you for blessing my life’.
Cait’s Corrie character Lauren Bolton has lived a traumatic life. Shortly after returning to Weatherfield, Lauren was manipulated into a relationship by solicitor Joel Deering (Calum Lill).
Joel put Lauren through hell, grooming her before attacking and leaving her for dead.
An investigation was launched into her murder, before she eventually turned up alive and pregnant with Joel’s baby.
As if he hadn’t been cruel enough, Joel drugged Lauren with pills designed to induce early labour in an attempt to make her lose the baby. His plan failed, and Lauren gave birth to son Frankie.
Joel continued to bring Lauren misery, until she eventually killed him by hitting him over the head with a rock while he tried to strangle Max Turner (Paddy Bever) to death.
She was later found not guilty of his murder in court, and has been trying to rebuild her life with Frankie ever since.
