Coronation Street Lauren’s devastating fate ‘sealed’ after villain’s ‘return’

Fans are fearing for Lauren Bolton on Coronation Street after she accidentally took LSD in liquid form.

It led to her hallucinating, sparking the return of her abuser Joel Deering. Lauren killed Joel late last year, but while high on the substance she unknowingly drank from a cup, she kept seeing Joel following her and taunting her.

Lauren ended up stumbling down some steps at the back of the factory, before Aadi Alahan found her and took her back to his house. With Lauren hysterical and possibly in a bad way, she was thought to be sleeping it off by the time the episode ended.

But now fans are worried the character will take a turn for the worse, thanks to some cryptic spoilers. Wednesday’s episode will see someone in a bad way as their condition deteriorates.

With it suggested that it was the third person to drink the LSD that would be in harm’s way and with Lauren falling, fans are now convinced the spoiler is about Lauren. While nothing has been revealed, viewers believe it is Lauren that will deteriorate in the next episode, leaving her in danger.

Amid this, other fans wondered if Lauren had snuck out of the house after Aadi left her upstairs. Summer Spellman and Nina Lucas witnessed something terrifying, while we have yet to learn what it was.

We only know that the girls saw or did something scary and shocking enough to leave them hysterical. They were crying and screaming and declared they could not return to the scene.

Fans were wondering if it was tied into Lauren’s drug taking, after a trailer appeared to show someone talking about leaving someone for dead. Now fans fear Lauren may have snuck out and something may have happened to her.

Taking to social media, one fan posted: “Hmm I wonder what happened. I wonder if something bad has happened to Lauren.” Another believed Lauren was at risk and said: “And who takes a turn for the worse… Lauren allegedly sleeping it off on her side?”

A third fan posted: “Lauren’s condition deteriorates,” as a fourth agreed: “Lauren takes turn for the worse.” Another fan commented: “Perhaps Lauren chokes.”

It comes as other fans believed Nina and Summer may have witnessed something happening to Aadi who is leaving the show soon. Meanwhile, there was a rather abrupt offscreen exit on the show on Monday for Bobby Crawford. Jack Carroll has already finished filming on the show, and his last scenes had already aired.

There was no big exit for the actor or his character with him quietly leaving the show, while Bobby’s recent decision to flee was thought to be temporary at the time. Now it’s been confirmed that Bobby’s trip abroad is in fact his exit plot, as he will not return to the show.

His exit was announced in scenes on Monday night during a conversation with Betsy Swain and Lauren Bolton. They seemed as shocked as viewers were over the abrupt exit confirmation, with fans stunned that there would be no final scenes or goodbye from the character.
