Toyah picking her fingernails, Dylan looking shocked and Evelyn holding Freddie while shouting and pointing in Coronation Street

Coronation Street is dialling up the drama next week, and Metro.co.uk is here to give you a sneak peek with some dramatic spoiler videos.

Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) is set to face trial, with Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) and Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) set to stand as witnesses. However, the boys are spooked by the idea of standing up to the bully, and end up both disappearing. Will they make it to court?

Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) has become enamoured with The Institute, but sister Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) is worried that it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Elsewhere, Roy Cropper’s (David Neilson) ordeal gets worse as people continue to abuse him after his arrest for Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) murder. Luckily, he still has plenty of friends in his corner, including young Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan).

Meanwhile, Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) must continue to deal with the consequences of stealing money from Underworld, while Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) offers Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) a job as a handyman.

As Dylan waits for a taxi, he is approached by one of Mason’s cronies, who comes bearing a stark warning.

He insists that Dylan must lie in court and say that he didn’t see Mason with the knife at all.

Dylan stands his grand, promising to tell the truth, but he is left horrified as Mason’s sidekick threatens Dylan and his parents, Sean Tully and Violet Wilson (Antony Cotton and Jenny Platt).

He chillingly warns that if Dylan doesn’t do as he says, then the next time he sees a knife it will be sticking out of him or his parents.

By the time Sean and Violet emerged from the house, the bully had made a swift exit, and Dylan kept quiet about what he’d said.

Will Dylan tell the truth, or lie about the knife?

Toyah is not impressed when she arrives back at the bistro after having a conversation with Rowan (Emrhys Cooper) from The Institute, and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) is quick to remark that it is clear she won’t be signing up.

A concerned Toyah is eager to know exactly how much sister Leanne has been paying the organisation, having been taken in by their ideologies.

Nick also grows curious, and soon logs into their bank account to check the recent transactions.

He is left shocked when he realises that she has paid them £400, and Toyah points out that she has wated the money.

Seriously concerned, Toyah warns Nick to nip things in the bud, before they get out of hand.

Evelyn Plummer and Carla Connor (Maureen Lipman and Alison King) are left frustrated when they are interrupted by DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), who is keen to speak to Roy.

She explains that Alice has made a complaint against him, but Evelyn is determined to set the record straight.

Evelyn reveals that Alice had her phone right in Roy’s face and was threatening him, before she fell.

As DS Swain insists that she is now being treated for a head injury, Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) points out that she is well enough to be posting on her blog.

Ds Swain remained adamant that she must speak to Roy, until Evelyn blurted out that she had been the one to push Alice, in the hopes of taking the spotlight off Roy.

As DS Swain asks if that is the truth, Roy insists that it isn’t though Evelyn sticks to her story.
