Corrie’s Lauren ‘not really dead’ as fans ‘rumble’ her return date – and it’s not long

Corrie's Lauren Bolton is missing and presumed dead but now viewers of the ITV soap are certain she is alive - and have ‘rumbled’ her return date to the cobbles in a big twist

Coronation Street fans reckon they know when Lauren Bolton will be heading back to the cobbles.

The character, played by Cait Fitton, has been causing trouble on the soap ever since she arrived in November last year. And over on the soap at the moment, things have recently taken a dramatic turn.

Last month, she mysteriously vanished – with Roy being the last known person to see her alive. Lauren’s now presumed dead after police said she’s likely been killed while her suspected murderer walks free.

And it didn’t take long for Roy to become DS Lisa Swain’s number one suspect. Suspicions started to arise after he deep cleaned Lauren’s flat after she disappeared.

But blood was found at her flat, and Roy’s suspicious behaviour led to him being questioned. And in a big twist, the search for Lauren became a murder inquiry and Roy was hit with trolls and speculation from online sleuths.

And in Friday’s episode (April 12), Roy is taken in again for questioning about the incident and is interrogated while solicitor Dee Dee is by his side. But as Swain dives into Roy’s chequered past, it’s evident she sees him as the man responsible.

The soap alum is then arrested for her murder – leaving fans gutted. But now, some viewers are convinced that Lauren isn’t actually dead. What’s more, they reckon they know when she’ll show up.

Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “I feel this will end when Lauren turns at the trial as an unannounced witness!” Someone else replied: “I thought this, it would be so good if it happened.”

A third wrote: “Could Lauren make a shock appearance at the trial?“ Another chimed in and penned: “Get Lauren to turn up in court!”

Other fans are heartbroken at Roy’s fate after getting arrested. On X, someone said: “Make this story involving Roy STOP. Poor Roy” Another added: “I can’t stand how they are treating Roy bless him but he is not helping himself in away.”
