Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) becomes the next Coronation Street resident who finds herself in danger as a result of Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) murder investigation.

Of course in Weatherfield, everyone wants to help Roy (David Neilson). The beloved character is currently behind bars for Lauren’s murder, despite the fact he did not commit the crime.

In upcoming episodes, Sam (Jude Riordan) decides to do his good deed for Roy and Nina (Mollie Gallagher) by walking Freddie the dog before school.

However, when Sam returns, he explains that the pooch dashed off and now he’s lost.

After a search, Nina, Asha and Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) watch a video uploaded by some sleuths showing they’ve taken Freddie and to secure his safe return, Roy must confess to Lauren’s murder.

In the week, Asha tells Aadi (Adam Hussain) that she’s had a response from the troll behind the video and she’s arranged to meet him in the precinct.

After Aadi offers to go with her, his plans then change when Amy (Elle Mulvaney) reveals the lady at the charity can no longer do the radio interview, and would like him to do it instead.

When Aadi reveals that Amy’s charity worker had to pull out of the interview because of a crisis with a vulnerable family, solicitor Joel (Calum Lill) reluctantly offers to help.

Meanwhile, as Asha arrives at the precinct, there’s no sign of Aadi.

As Asha calls her brother, Aadi is at Number 1 with Amy, failing to notice his phone has been ringing.

Back at the precinct, just as Asha prepares to leave, TrueMan67 and his sidekick, Banditman, reveal themselves and start asking awkward questions.

Is Asha now in danger?
