Coronation Street spoilers have revealed what happens next after Monday’s devastating Todd Grimshaw twist.
Soap fans will remember that Theo Silverton has been tormenting husband Todd for months, even coercing him into tying the knot last month in a disturbing development.
Fortunately, Theo has begun to be rumbled on the cobbles as Todd’s father figure and colleague, George Shuttleworth, saw right through the wicked builder, along with Todd’s mates Gary Windass, Sarah Platt, Summer Spellman and Christina Boyd.
Recognising the net is tightening around him and the fact that he left Billy Mayhew to die in the Corriedale car crash earlier this year, Theo is attempting to relocate to Belfast with Todd while his nearest and dearest try to prevent this.

After a heart-to-heart with Summer about Theo, Summer suggested that Theo might be responsible for Billy’s death, leaving Todd concerned about his husband and Belfast move.

Todd then asked Theo if he could stay in Weatherfield instead of moving to Belfast, which Theo seemed to go along with until he locked Todd in their bedroom.
After ‘earning’ Theo’s trust, Todd was able to leave the bedroom and as Theo got in the shower, he attempted to make a run for it. However, Theo had locked the flat’s door and upon hearing Todd trying to escape, violently attacked him in devastating scenes.
Monday’s episode, which is available on ITV X now, ended with a bloodied Todd arriving on Sarah’s doorstep as he collapsed, asking for her to call the police.
Amid the harrowing and powerful scenes, soap watchers have been left asking what happens next to both Todd and Theo with spoilers revealing details.
On Wednesday night, the popular ITV soap will broadcast a poignant single-story episode as Todd finally takes a stand against Theo, reporting him for assault and revealing months of abuse to DS Lisa Swain and Kit Green.

On Thursday, aware that they need the video footage from Theo’s tablet to bolster Todd’s case, Sarah approaches Theo’s van, opens the door and searches through Theo’s holdall. She spots a tablet and is about to snatch it, but could she be about to make matters worse?
Wrapping up the week on Friday, George offers to go with Todd to the flat to collect his belongings, but when the door buzzer sounds, Todd is sent into a panic and he flees the flat in tears.
Later on, Christina, Summer and Mary fuss over Todd, but the latter winces in pain, causing his heartbroken loved ones to realise just how vulnerable he is.
