FIFA president Gianni Infantino pays respect to Egypt in Colombia vs Switzerland clash at 2026 World Cup – spotted

Infantino was able to attend both the Argentina and Colombia matches on the same day!

FIFA president Gianni Infantino paid respect to Egypt as he attended the 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 clash between Colombia and Switzerland.

The Swiss executive was able to make the game between his home country and Colombia, despite having attended Argentina’s 3-2 win over Egypt only hours ago on the same day.

Infantino also decided to pay homage to Egypt after seeing them eliminated from the competition by the defending champions.

He posed for a few pictures with the Egyptian national flag, as well as interacting with fans who brought it to him.

Infantino, however, is yet to respond to the Egpyt head coach and players hinting that they were robbed of a win over Argentina by poor refereeing.
