Coronation Street spoilers: Lauren’s killer ‘unveiled’, Roy death fears and DS Swain opens up

Corrie fans can expect plenty of drama this week as Lauren's killer is finally revealed, Roy's life is left hanging in the balance and DS Swain opens up about her home life

Coronation Street star Sally Carman had a sex rule in her contract for filming raunchy scenes in a previous show.

The actress plays Abi Franklin on the ITV soap – making her debut in 2017. And it’s fair to say she has quickly become a favourite with fans.

Coronation Street fans are in for another explosive week on the ITV cobbles.

At the start of the week, fans will see Roy continue to adjust to life behind bars while he waits for Lauren’s murder trial. But it’s fair to say the pressure is mounting to prove his innocence.

Things take a turn for the worse when far-right activist Griff lands back in Weatherfield Prison and tries to force a confession out of Roy. Griff is out for blood and it soon becomes clear that Roy is in grave danger. Will he live to see Lauren’s trial take place?

Elsewhere, Bethany is convinced that Nathan is to blame for Lauren’s murder. With her daughter pushed to breaking point, Sarah tries to plant some evidence of Lauren’s hair on Nathan, but she’s caught in the act. Will she find herself behind bars too?

Meanwhile, Carla and Bobby find themselves on the wrong side of the law when Bobby’s false statement about a masked figure is exposed. As DS Swain interrogates the two, Carla bonds with the officer over her parenting issues.

But just as it looks like Swain and Kit are about to crack the case, viewers will be hit with a bold out of the blue as a new piece of evidence reveals who Lauren’s killer really is. Have the police got their man or is the predator still at large?
