Coronation Street spoilers: Carla under fire as Adam exposes murder secret in public

Carla and Adam speak to Daniel in the pub in Corrie

Carla Connor (Alison King) faces the wrath of the Barlows in Coronation Street soon as they discover her and Bobby Crawford’s (Jack Carroll) plan to try and frame Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

In this week’s episodes of the ITV soap, we will finally learn about what happened to Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton), the young woman who seemingly disappeared into thin air back in February.

When DS Swain (Vicky Myers) picks up on the fact Carla and Roy (David Neilson) aren’t as close as what they used to be, she decides to do some digging.

Visiting Roy, Swain asks him outright if his fallout with Carla has anything to do with Bobby’s statement – the one where he lied to try and prevent Roy from life behind bars.

The aftermath of the dramatic episodes kicks off next week, when Bethany (Lucy Fallon) tells Craig (Colson Smith) about Ellie, a woman who Nathan (Christopher Harper) abused.

Craig calls at Ellie’s lodgings only to be told by her flatmate that she’s moved out and she appeared frightened about something.

Meanwhile, Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) lets slip to Adam (Sam Robertson) how Bobby stitched up Daniel by giving the police a false statement and Carla went along with it all.

In the week, the Barlows gather in the Rovers where Adam reveals everything about Bobby’s statement, which caused Daniel to become a prime suspect in Lauren’s murder investigation.

Later in the café, Ken (William Roache) reacts to the situation by telling Carla and Bobby he’s deeply unimpressed by their treatment of Daniel, which makes Carla feel terrible.

Will things ever be the same again between Carla and the Barlows?
