DEE-DEE Bailey is set to make a disturbing discovery about her fiance Joel Deering in Coronation Street.
In recent episodes of the long-running ITV serial drama, her suspicions have been raised following his behaviour.
But Dee-Dee’s (Channique Sterling-Brown) patience and trust will soon be pushed to the limit on Coronation Street.
Joel (Calum Lill) has been hiding many things from Dee-Dee as he has been concealing Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) at his flat, who was expecting his baby.
He also lied to his fiancee when he bought medication to terminate Lauren’s pregnancy.
The box of tablets arrived at their address, but he told Dee-Dee it was actually for a client.
Lauren was planning to permanently relocate to Northern Ireland to start a new life and Joel even found her a bedsit.
But Dee-Dee’s suspicions will be raised by a startling notification that will send her life in a downward spiral.
On her fiance Joel’s laptop, he will be asked to rate his experience at Belfast Airport.
She’ll be left completely confused as she cannot recall when Joel has ever been to the location.
Smelling something suspicious, Dee Dee will quiz Joel about the surprise notification.
He will tell her that he was meant to go to Belfast for work, but the trip got cancelled.
However, Dee-Dee still plans on marrying the man she feels is the love of her life.
She will give Emily – Joel’s daughter from a previous relationship – a fairy charm for Maeve’s apparent bracelet, as she will come up with a bright idea.
Dee-Dee suggests that maybe the infant may want to be a flower girl at her upcoming ceremony.
But Emily Wilkinson (Ellena Vincent) is set to reveal that her young daughter does not even have a charm bracelet.
His ex-partner will warn her to be careful, telling her that she knows that Joel is still paying the rent on his old flat.
This is despite the fact that the pair recently moved in together.
Dee-Dee is left confused by yet another lie and she will search Joel’s briefcase.
But the lawyer will be left utterly horrified as she finds his set of keys inside.
She will be then be convinced that he is having an affair, so she lets herself into the apartment and hurriedly looks through all the cupboards.
But what will she find? Is Dee-Dee finally onto Joel and his villainous ways? Or will she find more than she bargained for?
