Damon Hay’s Coronation Street comeback storyline revealed in explosive spoilers
The criminal previously left Corrie in drama-filled scenes earlier this year
CORONATION Street spoilers reveal Damon Hay’s explosive return to the cobbles.
Damon (played Ciaran Griffiths) left the Street earlier this year as he was sentenced to six years in prison.
In scenes yet to air, Adam (Sam Robertson) and Daniel (Rob Mallard) are discussing Damon’s hidden money.
Later, Adam calls at the factory and confesses to Sarah (Tina O’Brien) that Damon offered to pay Bethany’s (Lucy Fallon) medical bills.
However, Adam reveals he deleted the message from Sarah’s phone.
After hearing this information, Sarah calls her former lover Damon in prison.
It comes after actor Ciaran was spotted back filming at the Corrie set in August.
With the character being locked up for armed robbery, it raised the question of the circumstance surrounding Damon’s comeback.
In real life, although hailing from Manchester, Ciaran moved to Australia in 2019.
Following his soap exit, Ciaran returned Down Under and married his now wife, with whom he has a son.
Previously, a source exclusively told The Sun: “Ciaran has been spotted on set in recent days – which will be a shock to fans because when he left the show, he went back to Australia.
“The actor returns to filming whenever the show needs to see him in prison.
“Because his character was sentenced to six years behind bars, that means it’s likely one unlucky cobbles resident is going to end up in prison – as Damon isn’t getting out any day soon.”
During his time in Weatherfield, Damon embarked on an affair with Sarah, who is married to Adam.
In his exit scenes in March, the gangster summoned Sarah to prison to break up with her.
As his lover shared how she planned to wait for him, Damon had some harsh words.
He said: “I don’t want you to do that because I asked you here to tell you to your face, we’re finished.
“I’m doing you a massive favour.
“You turned my world upside down but if I loved you, properly loved you, I wouldn’t have done the stuff I’ve done.
“You’ve got to walk away. I’m sorry, it’s my decision. Goodbye Sarah.”
How will Sarah and Damon’s upcoming reunion unfold?
