A new Coronation Street spoiler video has revealed the moment that Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) confesses to hitting Joel Deering (Calum Lill) with a crowbar on the night of his death.

Last week, Dee-Dee admitted to Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) that she had killed Joel, after lashing out at him in self-defence.

Though Ed was sure that she couldn’t have been the killer, given that she hadn’t been the one to dump his body in the river where it was found, Dee-Dee was still overwhelmed by her guilt.

After learning that her uncle Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) is still in the frame for Joel’s murder, Dee-Dee makes the decision in upcoming scenes to go to the police.

In the new spoiler video, she reveals to DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) that she was the person who made an anonymous phone call to him on the night of Joel’s death, and that it was because she had struck him with a crowbar.

When Kit later questions her, Dee-Dee insists that she acted in self-defence, and that Joel was still alive when she left the scene.

However, things take a shocking turn when Kit is presented with another piece of evidence…

Will Dee-Dee be arrested, or is someone else in the frame for the crime?

Viewers are set to finally find out the real culprit behind Joel’s murder in a special episode on Friday, November 15, which will explore the events of the night of Joel’s death through a series of flashbacks and police interviews.

There are a number of suspects in the frame – all with plenty of motive to want Joel dead – but who will be revealed as the killer?
