Alya Nazir’s big new role wins her furious enemies in Coronation Street

Alya speaks to Rick in the bistro in Coronation Street

Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) is set to make some serious enemies in upcoming Coronation Street scenes as she accepts a big new role.

Alya has been working for Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) and Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) for a while now, but she soon starts to realise that the grass may be greener on the other side when Adam blows off an important meeting to flirt with another client.

However, this works out in Alya’s favour, when she is forced to take the meeting with Rich from Fabian’s alone, and he is impressed by her knowledge.

Alya is thrilled when he suggests that she would make good future partner material for the business, and even Adam stumbling in mid-snog with his other client can’t dull her mood.

Later in the week, Alya informs Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) that she’s accepting a job offer from Rich, and soon joins him for lunch in the Bistro, while Adam and Dee-Dee struggle without her in the office to organise things.

As Rich showers Alya in compliments, praising her success and assuring her that she’ll go far, Adam receives an email from his biggest client revealing that they are moving their business over to Fabien’s.

The next day, Alya is furious to learn that Adam has told Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) that she has accepted her job back, and she soon finds him to give him what for.

She makes it very clear that she wants nothing more to do with him and the business, before storming off, leaving Adam watching after her, clearly smitten.

Will Adam be still be drawn in by Alya when he learns that she has been poaching his clients?
