Betsy Swain brutally attacked by thugs in Coronation Street – and it’s all Mason Radcliffe’s fault
BETSY Swain will be brutally attacked by thugs in Coronation Street and it will be all Mason Radcliffe’s fault.
The ITV teenagers are set to be involved in a new terrifying storyline which will have major repercussions for the rest of the residents.
Mason’s (Luca Toolan) siblings will be released from police custody without charge, which will force him back into danger.
Betsy (Sydney Martin) will advise him to lie to his siblings and suggest it was actually Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) who was the real grass.
She will tell her friend to say it was the husband of Sally (Sally Dynevor) who actually went to the police.
As the pair stand on the street flirting with each other, his brother Matty will pull up on Coronation Street.
The romantic mood is immediately broken as he will attempt to intimidate the pair.
Sally and Tim will later return to their home at number four to find the word ‘grass’ emblazoned on their house.
The word was spray painted across their front door, leading former prisoner Sally to become terrified.
Although Tim will try to calm her down, assuring her that he reported them to the police.
However, danger is on the horizon when Betsy and Mason spot Logan getting into Tim’s cab.
They rush to Eileen (Sue Cleaver) to tell her that Tim could be in serious danger.
In the car, Logan orders Tim to pull over and park as Matty climbs into the cab.
He will make it clear to the driver that they will teach him a lesson for reporting them to the authorities.
But they will not stop there; they will continue their rampage against the rest of the residents.
Just off the Weatherfield Precinct, they will corner her in one of the alleyways.
Although Betsy sends an urgent message to her mum, the duo will later threaten her and steal her phone.
She will be left devastated by their actions, which will also horrify their mother Lisa (Victoria Myers).
DS Swain will be devastated when she will realise that she missed an emergency message from her daughter.
