Coronation Street’s Jack Carroll has shared a pretty epic snap of him and his co-stars, including Chris Gascoyne.

Jack plays Bobby in the ITV soap, the nephew of Carla Connor (Alison King). The much-loved character had her life turned upside down around this time last year, when Chris’ character Peter Barlow decided to leave Weatherfield.

The decision came after Peter hit murderer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) with his car, which killed him. The cabby was at risk of relapsing and hitting the bottle amid his torment in the aftermath, so Carla decided to do something about it.

She booked her partner a one-way ticket to Spain so he could leave and join his friend on a new job. It was a move that left Peter stunned but he accepted the gift, knowing how beneficial starting over would be.

Recently, Jack spent the evening with Chris and some of his Corrie colleagues after watching Panto.

Chris is starring alongside Billy Pearce in the production of Peter Pan. Of course, after Jack, Peter Gunn (Brian Packham) and David Neilson (Roy Cropper) watched their mate on stage, they had to get a selfie with him.

‘They’re behind me!’, Jack wrote in the caption alongside.

‘Top night watching childhood hero and very funny man Billy Pearce in panto opposite Corrie legend Chris Gascoyne alongside Corrie legends David Neilson and Peter Gunn all in the surroundings of the beautiful Alhambra theatre Bradford. I’m a lucky lad to know such talented folk.’

2024 has been a year of change for Carla. Following Peter’s departure, she picked herself up and carried on with work at Underworld and getting to know Bobby.

She was then taken aback to realise she had started developing romantic feelings for DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers).

The two characters are now in a relationship, but they face trouble over the festive period when Lisa returns from a job nursing an injured lip, and her flat gets flooded.

As Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) rings the bell in the Rovers to signal the countdown to midnight and start of 2025, Carla tells Lisa that she loves her – but how will Lisa respond? Does she feel the same?
