Coronation Street clip ‘gives away who gets shot’ – and it’s not Tracy
Coronation Street fans think Tracy Barlow won't be the shooting victim during next week's siege at the hands of Rob Donovan, after a Lisa Swain and Carla Connor twist
Viewers are fearful they have worked out the identity of the person who gets shot on Coronation Street next week.
Spoilers this week confirmed that a character would be injured in the upcoming siege. Rob Donovan takes ex Tracy Barlow and his sister Carla Connor hostage next week, armed with a gun.
Spoilers detailed that as armed police head to the location at least one character would be shot and rushed to hospital, sparking an anxious wait for news on their fate. We also knew from a trailer that detective Lisa Swain, Carla’s girlfriend, would end up involved in the hostage drama trying to save her partner.
Now a new preview clip has provided an update, and it could let slip who gets injured. It’s yet to be revealed if the person survives the shooting, with dramatic scenes on the way.
Those at risk of being shot include shooter Rob, Lisa, Carla or Tracy. There’s theories around all four being the person dashed to hospital, while fans won’t know until Tuesday’s episode.

But now a preview clip may have revealed who isn’t injured, and who the victim could be. Tracy is nowhere to be seen in the new clip as Rob rages at Carla, brandishing his gun and threatening to kill her.
She pleads with her brother as she claims she had “no idea Tracy was going to do that”, but he calls her a liar. He points the gun at her and makes it clear he could shoot and kill her, with this possibly being his next plan.
It’s not known what Tracy has done but given she is AWOL, fans are speculating she flees the scene somehow and that this likely means she will not be the one who gets shot after all. Seconds into the clip Lisa arrives, slowly walking in and telling Rob not to shoot Carla.
As Rob then starts pointing the gun at her, ordering her to lock the door and sit down, she does as she’s told and it’s clear she’s terrified. Carla is horrified to see Lisa has come to help her knowing she is now in danger just like her.

The clip ends with the couple sat together, with Lisa sitting slightly in front of Carla to protect her as Rob continues to wave the gun in their faces. Now, fans are convinced this is the biggest sign yet that Lisa will end up taking the bullet.
Might Rob shoot her as revenge against Carla? Does the fact it looks as though Lisa could be wearing a bulletproof vest mean she will be the one the gun fires at? Does her late arrival put her in the most danger?
Viewers are fearing the worst, with one writing on X: “This has defo just swung the needle on the ‘Who Gets Shot-ometer’ back in Lisa’s direction.” Another said: “OMG so it looks like Lisa swaps places with Tracy so it IS one of these 3 that gets shot??”

A third fan said: “I’m just saying if Lisa gets shot… prepare for the edits I’m about to make. This is your warning guys.” A further comment read: “I’m calling it now….. Lisa takes a bullet for Carla…..or rather the bullet proof vest does!
Another fan added: “‘Lisa’s too obvious’ yes but so is Rob. The only none obvious choice was Tracy, and that clip has made it pretty clear it’s not her.” Others noticed the possible vest, with one saying: “Lisa is vested up!”
