Coronation Street confirms father of Daisy’s baby as Roy reels in new spoiler videos

Coronation Street's Daisy, Roy and David

Coronation Street serves up the drama with a capital D next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler videos, with a big shock on the cards in court while a resident receives long-awaited results.

Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) trial continues and Roy Cropper (David Neilson) takes to the stand, doing everything in his power to help secure her freedom.

But an unexpected turn of events could destroy everything.

Elsewhere, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is approached by a face from his past while at the police station and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) receives the results which confirm the father of her unborn baby.

The question is: is it Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) or Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard)?

For a first look at all the above you needn’t wait until Monday as you can check out my new spoiler clips from next week’s episodes, teasing what’s to come.

Monday January 20

Roy fears he’s misled the jury when giving evidence and takes the opportunity to reiterate just how kind and caring Lauren is.

Brie, however, stands up in court and blasts such a thing, claiming that Lauren attacked her last night. Will this scupper the trial?

Wednesday January 22

Shona drags David to the police station for an update on Logan, who remains on the loose after his role in Mason’s death. David is taken aback to see Andy, a guy he was in prison with.

Andy asks for David’s phone to put his number in so that they can arrange to go for a drink some time. Craig, however, advises David to stay well away from him.

Friday January 24

Daisy receives the DNA tests, revealing who the father of her unborn child is. Jenny wants to know but Daisy deletes the email, telling her stepmum that neither man is good enough to be the baby’s father.

Jenny disagrees and insists that Daniel and Kit will want to know but Daisy once again puts her foot down.
