Coronation Street fans left reeling as Tim ‘cops eyeful’ of Tracy Barlow romping in raunchy window cleaning scenes
It comes as one Street resident 'rumbled' the affair
CORONATION Street fans could not believe their eyes as Tim Metcalfe got an unexpected eyeful on the show.
Viewers of the ITV soap have been left blushing over recent weeks thanks to a slew of steamy sex scenes between Tracy Barlow and her new footballer lover Tommy Orpington.
The Weatherfield florist has been embarking on the affair with the local superstar behind husband Steve McDonald’s back.
During last night’s episode, show bosses added a glimmer of comedy into the affair and it was an unexpected resident that found himself caught up in the mix.
On the programme, local lad Gav was kicking off his first ever window cleaning round but it was clear that something was up.
He had never been up a ladder before and so Tim Metcalfe stepped in to show him the ropes.
Tim famously was the Street’s window cleaner for many years and so gave Gav a helping hand by showing him just how to climb the ladder.
Propped up against the Barlow house, he made his way to the top but what he saw through Steve and Tracy’s window almost left him scarred.
He copped an eyeful as he saw Tracy getting “at it” in a raunchy bedroom scene.
However, she saw the “peeping Tim” and furiously headed outside to confront him.
Thankfully, he believed it was Steve in the bed and not footie ace Tommy.
The mishap had some fans in stitches as other reeled from the cringe-inducing scenes.
Commening online, one viewer wrote: “‘When I’m cleaning windows’. Poor Tim got an eyeful #Corrie.”
Someone else said: “Why are so many of Tim’s storylines about sex #Corrie.”
A third added: “Tim went down that ladder quicker than he went up!”
Before a fourth referenced a classic hit movie as they said: “Confessions Of A Window Cleaner. That was actually a very funny film. I hope @Robin_Askwith is watching this episode.”
Star of the said movie, Robin, previously appeared on the cobbles as Ritchie de Vries in 2013.
Although, Tracy was under the impression that Tim thought it was Steve she was in bed with, Tim’s wife Sally soon unravelled the truth when she was able to connect the dots and work out that everything wasn’t as it seemed.
She realised that Steve was nowhere near home at the time of the romp owing to him being on an airport run.
Her eyebrows were raised even more when she saw Tracy and Tommy having a rather odd cosy meeting and when she later learned from Mary that Tracy whisked him out for his lunch, it did not take long for her to realise that it was in fact them two that Tim saw.
