There’s a siege horror on the way on Coronation Street, and some eagle-eyed fans think they know who gets shot.
Rob Donovan returns and takes his sister Carla Connor and her girlfriend Lisa Swain hostage. There’s armed police swarming the scene ready to take down Rob, but will the killer claim another victim before he bows out?
A new trailer for the March storylines on the ITV soap included scenes of Lisa and Carla being held by Rob at gunpoint. Interestingly, there’s something a little strange about the location they are in.
It’s led to theories from fans about another character secretly being linked to the storyline who is not in the trailer. They also wonder whether this absence from the trailer and the location of the hostage situation is a major clue as to who gets shot.
Fans noticed that when Carla and Lisa are with Rob, who’s wielding a gun at them, they’re in the home of the Barlows. So why would Carla and Lisa, and Rob, be in Ken’s house?
It’s led to speculation that Rob’s ex Tracy Barlow, Ken’s daughter, is somehow involved in the plot. Has Rob gone looking for Tracy? Is he there because of her?

It’s now sparked concern that it could be a clue that Tracy ends up getting shot, and perhaps Corrie are keeping this detail under wraps. Taking to social media, one viewer posted: “I was going to say why are they in number 1?? Maybe it’s Tracey who gets shot.”
So is Tracy’s shooting what leads to Lisa and Carla being at the house? Or is it all a big coincidence? Perhaps the house is relatively empty amid Ken’s hospital dash – viewers will just have to wait and see.
Shooting asides, other fans thought the house being the location of the siege was an indication that Tracy and Rob would come face-to-face at some point. One fan posted: ” So we all agreed, this is the Barlow’s and Tracy is gonna be harbouring Rob right?!?”
Another theory read: “I wonder why #Swarla are in Ken’s house. Rob’s ex Tracy involvement? Tracy did mention him the other day.” A third fan asked: “Why on earth are they at Ken’s house??????????” leading to one viewer responding: “Our Tracey love.”
Rob is currently on the run after escaping prison, with him already having kidnapped Carla and attacked Lisa just weeks ago. Rob was feared dead after Carla shoved her villainous brother down the stairs, but he’s alive and well and ready for more chaos.
