Coronation Street fans work out identity of Brody’s parents – and they’re already on soap
There could be a big DNA reveal in upcoming scenes on Coronation Street after a comment made by newcomer Brody.
Dylan Wilson got to know fellow STC inmate Brody on Monday night, and something he said about his parents led to a discovery by fans. Brody had commented on his parents having recently moved to the area, and fans immediately worked out who they believe he is referring to.
In fact, Brody’s parents could be familiar to viewers if a theory is correct after a recent arrival to the cobbles. Viewers are sure troublemakers Mick and Lou are the parents of Brody.
They think he is their mystery child who is yet to appear, and that it will be revealed that their son is in prison like Dylan, well, a centre. Taking to social media, the tiny mention of Brody’s parents living in Weatherfield sparked a flurry of comments suggesting Mick and Lou would soon be revealed as said parents.
One theory read: “After tonight’s #corrie I am even more convinced that Brody is Lou and Mick’s eldest son.” Another fan agreed: “Could Mick and Lou be Brody’s parents? The boy who is in the prison with Dylan?”

A third viewer posted online: “I think he is xx,” with another agreeing: “Me too.” This was backed by a comment that read: “He said that his parents have just moved into weather field. So I would say 100% yes.”
A further comment said: “From him saying his parents moved to Weatherfield I’d say a big yes.” The comments did not stop coming in though with another poster sharing: “Is Mick and Lou’s son in the same prison as Dylan?”
One more viewer agreed: “I think the person who’s in prison with Dylan is Mick and Lou’s son,” and another said: “Is the lad in the offenders unit the son of the awful new couple? He said parents have moved to Weatherfield.”
Brody certainly seems to be a troublemaker like Mick and Lou so perhaps it’s in the genes. Upcoming scenes will see Brody hanging out with Dylan more and getting him into trouble.
Meanwhile Mick and Lou have hardly arrived to the street quietly, and are said to be linked to Kit Green while most of their scenes have been terrorising their neighbours, and forming a ‘friendship’ with Chesney Brown and his wife Gemma Winter. It’s been teased chaos ensues soon, and that they could bring trouble to the cobbles.
