Coronation Street hunk Ryan Connor set to ‘return’ to ITV cobbles after Daisy split
EXCLUSIVE: Coronation Street favourite Ryan Connor left the soap two months ago following the breakdown of his affair with Daisy Midgeley - but Bard AI believes he could "return"
Coronation Street favourite Ryan Connor is set to return to the famous cobbles two months after he moved to Glasgow, AI claims.
Loyal ITV fans will remember the hunk (played by Ryan Prescott) found himself in the middle of a love triangle following his and Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) acid attack last year. Following the traumatic event, the former lovers naturally grew closer behind her fiancé Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) back.
It didn’t take long before they re-sparked their relationship behind closed doors, much to the teacher’s ignorance. But nothing in Soapland stays quiet forever, after Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) walked in on them kissing back in November.
Weeks later, Daniel discovered their affair and called off his engagement to Daisy, with Ryan quickly finding love again when his ex-girlfriend Crystal returned to Weatherfield. In the run up to Christmas, Ryan decided to leave the cobbles and move to Glasgow with the blonde bombshell after he landed a new job.
The programme reassured fans that Ryan will “definitely” return to the soap in the future – but warns “there’s no guarantee.” It explained: “It’s clear Ryan Connor returning to Coronation Street is definitely a possibility, but there’s no guarantee.”
It went on to share three factors that could lead to his return to Weatherfield. The system pointed out: “Ryan’s exit wasn’t a dramatic farewell leaving the door open for a future comeback.”
Bard AI suggested that the character still has a lot of room to grow in the future. It argued: “His ties to characters like Daisy, Simon and his family could be explored in future narratives, creating a reason for his return.”
However, the system warned fans that the soap star hasn’t given any indication that he will be returning to the soap online. It went on: “There haven’t been any official announcements about Ryan’s return, suggesting it’s not currently planned.”
His return also depends on Ryan’s availability after leaving the soap to pursue other acting roles. It continued: “Actor Ryan Prescott’s schedule and interest in reprising the role are unknown.”Fans will have to stay tuned to see if ITV bosses have dropped any hints that the beloved character could return to the cobbles.
