Coronation Street’s Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) has began her revenge plan on Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) after the publication of her tell-all article surrounding the events of the acid attack and her relationship with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).

Viewers of the ITV soap will remember that Bethany arrived back in Weatherfield on New Year’s Eve and immediately set about finding a story to progress her journalistic career and fund her new life away from Weatherfield.

After learning about Daisy catfishing Ryan after he saved her in the acid attack and then the two engaged in a steamy affair behind Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) back, she set about finding out more.

When Daniel (understandably) didn’t want to talk about it she used underhand tactics to record troubled teen Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) talking about the incident and proceeded to put pen to paper.

Earlier this week, Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) accidentally sent the exposé to everyone in the Rovers, devastating Daisy.

As she marched around to the builder’s yard flat, she dealt a low blow to Bethany when she mentioned the time she kissed Daniel whilst his late wife Sinead (Katie McGlynn) was dying.

She then kicked off with Daniel before heading into town to drown her sorrows.

In tonight’s (1st March) episode, Daisy told Jenny that she was out for revenge and called the editor of Chit-Chat magazine to inform them that she was planning legal action – and she wanted Bethany fired.

After another explosive altercation in Victoria Street, it seemed that the love triangle would never be able to recover from Bethany’s betrayal.

Furious that she had lost her job, Bethany had a heart to heart with Daniel who admitted that he was jealous of her achievements but equally as proud.

As one couple reconciled, as did another – Ryan was back on the cobbles from Glasgow with the news that he’d broken up with girlfriend Crystal Hyde (Erin Austen) and before long he and Daisy locked lips and strolled into the Rovers hand in hand.Ryan, welcome to the love quadrangle.
