Coronation Street return from dead twist ‘sealed’ for Tina McIntyre after 11 years
Coronation Street fans are convinced that a beloved character will be making a return from the dead after Rob Donovan's return to the cobbles was confirmed
Coronation Street viewers are buzzing with speculation that Tina McIntyre, played by Michelle Keegan, might be making a sensational return from the grave.
The popular barmaid first graced our screens in 2008 and quickly became a fan favourite, featuring in numerous high-profile storylines during her time on the cobbles. From scandalous affairs to enduring feuds, Tina’s stint in Weatherfield was anything but dull.
However, in 2014, after six years on the iconic street, she met a tragic end when she was pushed off a balcony. Despite surviving the initial fall, Tina was subsequently beaten to death with a metal rod by Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis), leading to his imprisonment.
Now, however, fans are speculating about a potential ‘back from the dead’ plot twist for Tina, which would undoubtedly thrill viewers. This week on the cobbles, Rob made a surprising comeback from Highfield Prison.
Moreover, it was recently confirmed that Harry Visinoni is set to return to the soap reprising his role as Seb Franklin, who was killed off in 2021. His return is scheduled to air next week.
With Rob Donovan back in Weatherfield and the soap’s recent trend of resurrecting deceased characters, some fans believe Tina McIntyre’s comeback is inevitable.
On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one viewer speculated: “Hear me out but what if Tina also comes back and returns from the dead? Richard returned for Gail, Seb is returning soon and so did Mason.”
Others shared similar sentiments, with one noting Rob’s return sets the stage perfectly for Tina’s comeback. Another fan mused: “Carla could hallucinate her maybe? ” Meanwhile, another enthusiast boldly declared: “Manifesting a Tina return!”
