Coronation Street reveals new heartache for Abi Franklin as tormentor ‘sealed’
Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Abi Franklin gets some sad news in the wake of her deepfake porn ordeal, as her tormentor strikes again leading to worrying scenes
Coronation Street is lining up a sad twist for Abi Franklin, as her deepfake porn ordeal continues next week.
Viewers know that someone has set her up, creating fake sex tapes of her and sharing them online. Abi is keen to find out who is behind it all, and next week things escalate as her mystery tormentor strikes again.
Abi finds herself in turmoil and soon she receives some bad news as a result of the escalating threat against her. Amid fans being convinced they know who is to blame, Abi finds out one of the videos is recirculating with her also being trolled online.
Next week, spoilers reveal the abuse gets worse, but the police are nowhere near catching whoever is behind it all. Abi is advised to hire a lawyer. Soon she receives abuse from two boys who come by the garage and mock her over the incident.
As Abi tries to figure out who is trying to ruin her life and why, she’s urged to get help online. But she’s devastated when her twins’ adoptive mother calls and cancels their visit from Australia, because of the ongoing issue with the videos.
Abi misses out on seeing her kids because of the troll, and she knows she has to get it sorted for once and for all. When Kevin and Abi find out that the online management company will charge £5k per month to remove the videos, they despair, knowing it’s unaffordable.
So what will they do and can they figure out who is behind the tapes and the trolling? Abi was convinced the person who made the video and then shared it was Dean, who she had been with in the past.
But after learning there were multiple and faked clips, she realised she was being set up. Abi then told Kevin that she knew Dean wasn’t responsible as he’s not good with computers as she contemplated who could be behind the evil stunt.
Meanwhile, Cassie was interested in the ongoing drama as she kept asking Kevin questions and even let slip Abi had been arguing with Dean. Later, Cassie suggested the person responsible must have an in-depth knowledge of computers and Kevin jumped to conclusions that it was Max Turner as he confronted the youngster, who insisted he was innocent.
Abi managed to break up the commotion in time as she pointed out it clearly wasn’t Max. Now fans think it’s Cassie, but are they right?
