Coronation Street fans believe they’ve worked out who is the real father of Daisy Midgeley’s baby.
Daisy, played by Charlotte Jordan, arrived on the cobbles back in 2020. It was recently reported that she’s leaving the ITV soap, following a string of other high-profile cast exits.
But Daily is currently the centre of a huge pregnancy storyline. Recently, she discovered she was expecting a child, with either Daniel Osbourne or Kit Green potentially being the father.
In Monday’s episode (January 20), Daniel, engaged to Bethany Platt and fearful of her discovering the truth, insisted on a DNA test to confirm if he is the father. During this scene, Daisy hinted at the baby’s gender, suggesting it might be a girl based on a ‘feeling’, leaving Daniel both thrilled and anxious about the news.
In upcoming scenes, Daisy gets the DNA test results. However, after reading them, she quickly deletes the information, telling stepmother Jenny Connor that the identity of the baby’s father is irrelevant and will remain a secret as neither man is fit to be a father.
But could this be because neither Kit nor Daniel are actually the father? Soap fans seem to think so, and many seem to think it’s Daisy’s ex Ryan Connor.

One viewer commented: “Wouldn’t surprise me if Daisy’s baby turns out to be Ryan’s #Corrie”, while another speculated: “I don’t think it’s Daniel or Kit! I’m going for Ryan” and another agreed: “I say Ryan also”, reports Lancs Live.
Another fan chimed in: “I’m guessing it’s going to be Ryan! ” Fans may remember that Daisy had an affair with Ryan Connor while she was still with Daniel before starting a relationship with Ryan.

Meanwhile, Daniel found love with Bethany. However, Daisy and Ryan’s relationship hit the rocks, and in a twist of fate, Daniel had a secret rendezvous with Daisy during a brief break from Bethany.
The pair soon rekindled their romance and got engaged. But the question remains: could Daisy and Ryan have also had a secret affair, and is he really the father?
