Coronation Street ‘rumble’ who gets shot in deadly siege – and it’s not Carla
Coronation Street viewers think they've worked out which character will be shot when villain Rob Donovan takes hostages, leading to a mystery character being rushed to hospital
There’s terror on Coronation Street next week as a horror siege leaves lives at risk, with at least one character shot.
New spoilers revealed Rob Donovan would take his ex Tracy Barlow and his sister Carla Connor hostage, armed with a gun. A trailer also teased Carla’s girlfriend Lisa Swain would be caught up in the drama and new spoilers have teased the dramatic events.
It’s been revealed that a gunshot rings out, and someone gets hurt. Said character is rushed to hospital in the fallout but there fate is yet to be confirmed.
It’s not known who gets shot, but fans are convinced they’ve worked out the identity of the unlucky victim. After hints in spoilers fans think that one character will take a bullet for their partner resulting in them facing death.
It all kicks off next week after Tracy harbours on-the-run killer Rob in her father Ken Barlow’s home, with him currently away. Things take a turn though when an injured Rob forces Tracy to get Carla to the house with a fake business proposition.
It seems he’s keen to flee with Tracy’s help, wanting them to start a new life elsewhere. But something goes wrong, and instead it’s teased he could be plotting revenge as he orders Carla to the house.

Of course when Carla gets there, she’s panic stricken to find a bleeding Rob holding a gun, leaving both women in grave danger. Lisa is horrified to hear what’s happened as a hostage situation unfolds on the cobbles, and soon armed police head to the scene.
Lisa will be forced to make a big decision it seems, whether to risk her life to save her girlfriend and to bring Rob to justice after weeks of terror. Will she allow the armed officers to take charge of the situation, or might she attempt to be the hero and stop Rob in his tracks?
After all, a recent trailer revealed Lisa would end up inside the house with Carla as Rob continues to threaten them, while Tracy is nowhere to be seen. At some point a shot rings out, leaving at least one life on the line.
No more is revealed on this, other than a teaser for the next episode that reveals the shooting victim is rushed to hospital sparking an anxious wait for those in the waiting room. It’s teased the character may not survive, so could a shocking death be on the cards for one character?

Viewers are now fearing it could be Lisa who gets shot, and that she might take a bullet for Carla. Might Rob try to kill his sister leading to her saving the day, leaving her life on the line?
One theory read: “Can totally see Lisa taking a bullet to protect Carla.” Another agreed: “Cue Lisa taking a bullet for her girlfriend,” as a third added: “Definitely getting shot!!!”
