Coronation Street spoilers: Adam reels from murder revelation while a missing teen is in serious danger

Actions are catching up for the residents of Coronation Street in next week’s episodes, with Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) being forced to make a confession about her affair with Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn), and Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) becoming out of his depth amid his deal with Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor).

And elsewhere, Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) is forced to face the music over her affair with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott), when an article from Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) exposes it all.

But Bethany will also have to endure repercussions when Daisy has her revenge.

While Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) is going all out to restore the spark with Tracy, it’s too late – and now that Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) knows of Tracy’s betrayal, he faces a decision over whether to tell his mate the truth.

Meanwhile, Adam is finding out more and more about Harvey’s true nature as he speaks with cancer sufferer John, who is preparing to take the rap for Natasha’s murder.

By now Adam knows how wrong it all is and what is at stake – but is there any way out at this stage?

Finally, worries grow for missing Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) as no news reaches home following her disappearance.

With the police becoming involved, it’s increasingly evident how much danger she is in…

Monday February 26

Tim tells Tracy he knows about her affair and she has to tell Steve. Tracy returns home with a feeling of dread, but she’s wrongfooted when Steve goes down on one knee and asks her if she’ll renew their vows.

Tracy finds herself agreeing. An excited Steve tells Tim that he and Tracy are renewing their vows and he’d like him to be his best man. Tim’s horrified, will he break the news to Steve that Tracy is sleeping with Tommy Orpington?

Carla waits for a client in the Chariot Square Hotel and chats to a rep from Waterfords who explains that he’s meeting Daisy, the owner of the Rovers. Carla assumes he means Jenny, but as she heads off she’s puzzled to see Daisy arrive.

Daisy tells Jenny she’s secured a deal allowing them to stock Newton & Ridley. Jenny’s annoyed but Daisy points out she is co-owner of the pub. They’re horrified to realise Carla’s heard every word.

Emily calls at the flat and after confirming that she and Joel are separated, assures Dee-Dee that he’s a good man at heart and she mustn’t give up on him. Will Dee-dee be able to forgive Joel for keeping Emily from her?

As John awaits his chemo, Adam quizzes him about his true whereabouts on the night of Natasha’s murder. Adam calls Harvey in prison and tells him there’s a problem with John’s evidence as there’s CCTV footage of him visiting a shop when he was supposedly murdering Natasha. Harvey instructs him to destroy the footage. Adam despairs.

When Bobby calls at Lauren’s flat again to find there’s no answer, he heads to the police station to report Lauren missing. Craig promises to make some enquiries.

Wednesday February 28

When Daniel asks Daisy if she’ll look after Bertie for a few hours she agrees, looking wistfully after Daniel. Daisy confides in Glenda that there’s still a spark between her and Daniel and she hopes they can get back together.

But with Rita’s birthday party in full swing in the Rovers, Mary receives a message and accidentally airdrops it to everyone in the pub. Daisy’s face falls as she reads ‘I had a Torrid Affair with my Acid Attack Hero’.

A family liaison officer calls to tell Nick that another man has come forward claiming that he killed Natasha and Harvey is planning an appeal.

When Nick and Leanne tell Sarah and Damon about Harvey’s appeal, Damon reckons that Harvey must be paying someone to carry the can.

Tracy breaks the news to Ken and Amy that she’s been having a fling with Tommy. Ken and Amy are appalled. As Tommy puts the finishing touches to their bathroom, Tim tells Sally he wants him gone out of loyalty to Steve.

Sean makes Dylan promise to give Mrs Crawshaw the names of the bullies. However when he reads a threatening text from Mason, Dylan’s visibly scared.

Dylan shows the headteacher the texts on his phone but when she asks him to name the other bullies, will he comply?

Alya tells Dee-dee she needs a girls’ night out to take her mind off Joel. In the bistro, Alya and Toyah do their best to cheer up Dee-Dee but she wishes she’d stayed at home.

Friday March 1

Daniel apologises to Daisy for failing to warn her about the article but she gives him short shrift. He then tries to make up with Bethany but she too cuts him dead. Having spoken to her editor a fuming Bethany tells Sarah that because of Daisy making a complaint, she’s been sacked.

Bethany confronts Daisy, accusing her of sabotaging her career. Daniel heads over, shocked to hear that Daisy had Bethany fired. As the row escalates, Daisy reveals Lauren blackmailed her and Ryan and only asked Daniel to tutor her so she could increase the pressure.

Daniel reels. Back home Daisy broods, but when Jenny reveals she’s got a visitor, Daisy’s gobsmacked to see Ryan.

Nick tells Dee-Dee about Harvey’s appeal and how worried he is for Sam’s sake. Dee-Dee asks him for all the details and promises to look into it. Dee-Dee returns to the office and, looking Adam straight in the eye, asks him if he’s working on Harvey’s appeal.

When Kevin reveals that Tommy O has accepted a job as an assistant coach at a football academy in Spain, but it’s not yet common knowledge, Steve’s intrigued.

Evelyn and Cassie clean the house in readiness for Fiz and Tyrone’s return. At the garage, Cassie makes Abi promise not to tell Tyrone she’s been using his car. But when Kevin points out she’s put petrol in a diesel engine she’s mortified.

Gary tells Maria that they need to come up with a better plan for Liam as she’s in danger of making herself ill by watching him round the clock.

Dylan furtively retrieves his confiscated phone and listens to a message from Mason.
