Coronation Street spoilers – Bobby reveals a massive bombshell over what happened to Lauren

Coronation Street’s Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) suddenly remembers a vital clue in Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) disappearance next week – with a huge impact on Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

Upcoming scenes will see the ITV soap newbie reveal he’s withheld some evidence from cops investigating Lauren’s apparent ‘murder’, that could potentially get prime suspect Roy Cropper (David Neilson) off the hook.

At the café, the residents are talking about his predicament when Bobby is given food for thought.

Heading to the police station for further questioning, DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) reminds him that perverting the course of justice is a criminal offence and that he shouldn’t withhold any information.

Cracking under the pressure of the conversation, he tells her that the intruder he saw as Lauren’s flat was wearing a balaclava and a dark, fur-trimmed coat.

As the residents overhear Bobby’s change of statement, Cassie Plummer (ClaireSweeney) says she remembers seeing a similar coat in the charity shop at the precinct.

When her mum Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) heads down to investigate, she finds that it has already been sold but some other clothes from the same donation are still there – and one has a name tag.

Later that evening, DS Swain calls round to the builder’s yard flat and tells Daniel that he needs to come to the station as new evidence has come to light.

Could Daniel have killed Lauren?

After blaming Max Turner (Paddy Bever) for reporting him, Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) reveals who was really to blame.

Arriving at the factory to kick off with Bobby for failing to tell him about Daniel’s involvement, the boys follow him down to the precinct where they find him meeting up with old pal Nicky Wheatley (Kimberley Hart-Simpson).

Max tells Bobby that Nicky is a former sex worker and there is definitely something suspicious going on.
