Coronation Street spoilers: Dangerous final war as Damon Hay takes on killer brother Harvey Gaskell in exit story

Damon confronts Harvey during a visit to the prison in Corrie

Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) tries to put a stop to the game of cat and mouse in Coronation Street soon, but his latest move could be one he seriously regrets.

Recently in the ITV soap, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) attempted to back out of the deal he had made with Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor). After asking the killer to get rid of Damon, Adam reluctantly agreed to work on an appeal case surrounding Natasha Blakeman’s murder.

However, after an emotional conversation with Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), Adam decided life as a bent solicitor wasn’t for him, so he had to try and correct his mistakes.

Sadly, messing with Harvey was never going to end peacefully. Outside on the cobbles, as Adam spoke to Sarah and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon), he noticed a car approaching.

Shoving Bethany and Sarah out of the way, Adam took the full force of the car crash, fully aware the situation occurred courtesy of Harvey.

This week, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) railed at a guilt ridden Adam for getting involved with Harvey and endangering Sarah and Bethany’s lives.

Meanwhile, Damon called his brother who ordered him to do a job, or Sarah would be killed.

With Damon trying to build a life with Sarah, he takes action next week by calling Harvey and telling him that he wants a cut of the profits from the job, or he’ll tell the police everything.

Keeping the interaction a secret, Damon then makes out to Sarah that he’s spoken to his financial advisor and they can afford to buy the house of her dreams.

But is this deal a good idea?

If Damon succeeds in getting rid of Harvey, will he keep this hidden from Sarah forever?
