Coronation Street spoilers: Dee-Dee Bailey discovers Adam Barlow’s murder plot but it may be too late

Dee-Dee confronts Adam in the solicitors office in Corrie

Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) is a woman on a mission in Coronation Street soon as she confronts Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) over him possibly working with Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor).

Adam met with Harvey a few weeks ago following the return of Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths). He asked the drug lord – who is also in prison for murder – if he would get rid of Damon, who is now in a relationship with Adam’s ex Sarah (Tina O’Brien).

Harvey agreed to help, but told Adam he would only do it if he worked on an appeal case surrounding Natasha Blakeman’s murder in return.

Trapped into a corner, Adam recently met up with a man called John Perry, who said he’s willing to take the fall for Harvey and say he killed Sam’s (Jude Riordan) mum.

A frustrated Adam in the solicitors office in Corrie

After discovering John is a cancer patient and doesn’t have long left to live, Adam was incredibly uncomfortable with the prospect of potentially putting him in prison but when he raised that with Harvey, the evil man reminded the solicitor he doesn’t have a choice anymore.

In upcoming episodes, as John awaits his chemo, Adam quizzes him about his true whereabouts on the night of Natasha’s murder.

Adam then calls Harvey and tells him there’s a problem with John’s evidence due to the fact there’s CCTV footage of him in a shop when he was supposedly killing Natasha.

Frustrated, Harvey instructs Adam to destroy the footage.

Later in the week, a family liason officer pops by the flat and tells Nick (Ben Price) that another man has come forward claiming that he killed Natasha, and Harvey is planning an appeal.

After a comment from Damon about his brother paying someone to carry the can, Nick tells Dee-Dee about the appeal and how worried he is for Sam’s sake.

Dee-Dee gathers the details from Nick and later, during a return to the office, she looks Adam straight in the eye and asks him if he’s working on Harvey’s appeal.

But what will Adam say?

If Harvey’s appeal is a success, does this mean he will return to Weatherfield?
