Coronation Street spoilers: Doomed Lauren Bolton’s fate ‘revealed’ after very sinister hint

Lauren and Bobby walk on Victoria Street in Coronation Street

In the small amount of time we’ve known Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) in Coronation Street, we’ve learnt she’s been through a great deal, and often works hard to try and bring some positivity to her life.

One way she is trying to do this is by taking her English GCSE exam.

Lauren is being tutored by Daniel (Rob Mallard), who is also helping her with applying for the test, but Lauren often faces hurdles in this journey where money is concerned.

In Tuesday’s (February 13) episode of the ITV soap, Lauren explained to Bobby (Jack Carroll) that the books she needs to read aren’t available at the library anymore, and can’t afford to buy them.On a mission, Bobby made his way over to the charity shop and asked Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) to source them, in exchange for a double brandy and £20.

Evelyn was successful with helping Bobby and when Lauren discovered what he had been up to, she was incredibly grateful.

That evening, at Carla’s (Alison King) flat, Lauren and Bobby decided to watch a film.

After Carla awkwardly interrupted, Lauren told Bobby that she was enjoying the film, bar the scene where a character locked ‘a woman upstairs and lied about it’.

Bobby joked and said that was a ‘major red flag’, which has left us somewhat curious.

In upcoming episodes, Lauren will make a mistake that will result in Roy (David Neilson) giving her the sack.

Feeling bad, Roy calls by Lauren’s flat with her wages. She thanks Roy for his kindness and tells him she’s planning on leaving Weatherfield to start afresh.

Later that day, Bobby heads to the flat but finds the door unlocked. He lets himself in but realises Lauren isn’t there, so he drops her a text and soon leaves, locking the door behind him.

Back on the cobbles, Bobby shares his concerns about Lauren with Max, telling him how he found her flat door unlocked – but no sign of her.

A worrying twist lies ahead for Lauren – but where will she go?

Did the scene tonight foreshadow someone kidnapping her?
