Coronation Street spoilers for next week: Shocking murder plot, a major character returns and car crash drama

Step forward hero of the hour Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn), who is very kindly on hand to fill the void.
However, things may go awry when Steve arrives back – and walks in on them! How much has he seen?
Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) is also playing with fire – and the consequences would be even more far-reaching with this one.
United with killer Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) to get rid of Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths), he takes drastic action in a jaw-dropping plot.
Neither of these situations are going to end well…
