Coronation Street spoilers: Maria left reeling by what she’s caught on her video camera – and it can only mean one thing
Maria Connor’s (Samia Longchambon) secret video camera in her flat reveals some upsetting information about Gary Windass (Mikey North) in Coronation Street soon.
We know that Maria felt the need to put a camera in her living room to watch Liam (Charlie Wrenshall), who experienced suicidal thoughts a few months ago after being bullied by Mason (Luca Toolan) and his gang.
While doing this has put Maria’s mind at ease, it’s also given her the chance to listen in on conversations between Gary and his ex-partner Sarah (Tina O’Brien) – which really wasn’t the plan.
In upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Liam spends the afternoon with Joseph (William Flanagan) watching a film.
After Liam experiences a panic attack, he finds a distraction by searching through the cupboards for sweets at Billy’s (Daniel Brocklebank) flat.
However, Liam then spots Paul’s (Peter Ash) stash of Benzo pills and decides to slip them into his pocket.
Meanwhile, in the pub, Gary watches a struggling Sarah with concern as she knocks back the wine. When he spots her heading home with another bottle, he decides to intervene.
As Liam returns home, he realises Gary isn’t back yet. Feeling another panic attack coming on, Liam takes out Paul’s pills and shortly after, we see him unconscious on the floor.
In the aftermath, once Maria explains Liam’s suicidal thoughts to Paul and Billy, she returns home to find Sarah and Gary looking a little shifty.
She picks up some things and surreptitiously places a camera on the side. As Gary sees Sarah out, they hug and agree to keep their distance from now on.
Meanwhile, as Maria watches them on her phone, her face starts to darken.
But what has gone on between Gary and Sarah?
Could this development mean the end of his relationship with Maria?
