Coronation Street spoilers: Tracy McDonald’s loved ones rocked to the core as she confesses her torrid affair
Tracy McDonald (Kate Ford) is set to finally come clean about her extra-marital affair with Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) in Coronation Street next week.
The two first met on Christmas Day, with Tracy discovering that the retired Weatherfield County player was now was working as a painter and decorator.
As Tommy got to work decorating Tracey and Steve’s (Simon Gregson) bedroom, she got to work flirting with him and it wasn’t long before they committed the dirty deed.
Steve was blissfully unaware that his wife was playing away from home with his footballing hero, and after a trip to France to visit daughter Emma (Alexandra Mardell) decided to make special effort to reignite the spark in his marriage.
Despite the special lunches, X-rated Valentine’s cards and gifts, Steve’s efforts went unnoticed by his wife who has tried in vain to keep her adultery a secret.
While helping youngster Gav Adetiba (Noah Olaoye) with his new window cleaning round, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) caught Tracy engaging in a little bit of lunchtime fun.
Rushing home to tell his wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) what he witnessed, she was left baffled after seeing Steve driving for Street Cars all day.
In upcoming scenes, Tim will confess to Tracy that he knows about the affair after tricking her into admitting it, but asserts that it is her responsibility to break the news to doting Steve.
Returning back to No. 1 with a sense of dread, she’s dumbfounded when he gets down on one knee and proposes that they renew their vows – and Tracy says yes!
Thrilled that their relationship is back on track, Steve beams to Tim about the renewal.
But will guilt get the better of Tim, and will he come clean about what he’s found out?
