Coronation Street spoilers: Two major victims revealed in horrifying and deliberate car smash

Adam Barlow’s (Sam Robertson) worst fears are realised in upcoming Coronation Street scenes as Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) targets Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).

Viewers of the ITV soap have watched in horror as Adam has agreed to work with killer Harvey in a bid to clear Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) from Weatherfield forever – but there was a catch.

Harvey agreed to send his brother on his way, allowing Adam to reconcile with Sarah, on the condition that he helped him appeal the sentence he’s served since murdering Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) two years ago.

In upcoming scenes, after realising that his botched plan to free Harvey is ludicrous, Adam signs his divorce papers and deletes the appeal document, playing CCTV footage that incriminates Harvey into a jiffy bag and handing it over to the police.

When Harvey calls to make him aware of what he’s done, he warns him to watch his back.

Adam heads to Redbank to try and reconcile with Sarah, but she comes overwhelmed by the altercation and rushes out into the street.

Noticing her mum is upset, Bethany rushes to comfort her when a car accelerates towards them!

Later in the week, Adam’s actions come to light, disappointing his uncle Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and dad Ken Barlow (William Roache).

As Sarah and Bethany overcome from the shock of the incident, Damon assures them that after speaking with Harvey, they have nothing more to worry about.

What will Harvey’s next revenge plan be, and can Damon keep his promise of protection?
