Lauren has already had a dramatic time
Since arriving on the cobbles in 2022, Lauren has had some massive storylines.
She was introduced as a member of dad Reece Bolton’s far-right group, which groomed Max Turner (Paddy Bever) into becoming a member.
When the group was finally brought down, Lauren sought to turn her life around, starting a job at the café.
However, things took a dramatic turn when she suddenly disappeared after a violent attack, and was believed to be dead by police.
After both Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and Nathan Curtis were wrongly arrested for her murder, it was revealed that sleazy solicitor Joel Deering was the true culprit.
Joel had violently attacked Lauren and left her for dead after grooming her for several months.
When Lauren returned, she was pregnant, and Joel took horrific action to try and make her lose the baby by drugging her to induce an early labour.
Fortunately, premature Frankie survived, though he has since suffered health complications and recently had to undergo a stem cell transplant.
Joel’s vile behaviour was finally brought to an end when Lauren killed him in dramatic scenes, as he tried to strangle Max to death. She was eventually found not guilty of the crime.
