Coronation Street’s Damon continues lying to Sarah amid Harvey plan
Will Sarah discover his criminal scheme?
Coronation Street’s Damon Hay’s lies to girlfriend Sarah Barlow are set to escalate amid Harvey Gaskell’s plan.
Harvey has recently been involved in dodgy dealings with Sarah’s ex Adam, who asked him to get rid of her new partner Damon – who she previously had an affair with.
In return, solicitor Adam began work on appealing Harvey’s conviction for the murder of Natasha Blakeman, an illegal plot which involved getting a terminal cancer patient to take the fall.
But Adam decided to back out of the plan, a decision which left him in hospital following a hit-and-run attempt on Sarah and Bethany Platt.
With no hope of getting his conviction overturned, Harvey has now begun threatening his half-brother Damon from prison.
In a tense phone call, Harvey demanded that Damon return to criminality and help him with a job, or else he will hurt Sarah.
Amid Damon and Sarah’s exciting plans to buy a house and settle down, Damon told Harvey that he will go to the police unless he gets a share of profits from the job.
In scenes that will air on Friday, March 22, Sarah goes to view a potential house, and on her return admits that it was the stuff of dreams.
Damon, with his dangerous scheme in mind, promises Sarah that he’ll do what he can to raise the money.
Harvey later calls Damon from prison and gives him his instructions for his part in the upcoming job, which is a robbery.
Damon lies to Sarah and tells her he won’t be able to make her son Harry’s party the next day as he is seeing a potential new client who could prove very lucrative.
Will Sarah find out what Damon is up to before it’s too late?
Last month, it was confirmed that Will Mellor, who plays gangster Harvey, has finished filming for the ITV soap, so the character will be making another exit from the show in the coming weeks.
