Coronation Street’s Gary Windass betrays Maria Connor – and races to destroy the evidence
He made a huge blunder, unaware of Maria's hidden camera after their row
IN upcoming scenes on Coronation Street, Gary Windass is set to betray Maria Connor.
He is set be be caught up in a potentially compromising position and has to be quick thinking about it.
Maria (Samia Longchambon) installed a secret hidden camera in her home after she was left worried about her son Liam (Charlie Wrenshall).
Her teenager is currently going through homeschooling after he contemplated taking his own life.
This was after he was the target of severe abuse in a heartbreaking bullying storyline.
Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) was recently sent to prison after he threatened Liam with a zombie knife.
But Liam proudly tells his mum and Gary (Mikey North) that he’s ready go to back to school in the wake of the dramatic court scenes on Coronation Street.
But the mum-of-one refuses to listen to her young son and she soon ends up in a row with Gary.
Things become tense after she implies that Gary has no say in the matter as Liam is not his biological son.
Meanwhile, Sarah (Tina O’Brien) is worried on Damon Hay’s (Ciaran Griffiths) sentencing day in court and Gary is happy to provide some comfort.
Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) calls to say that he had been sent down for six years and Sarah completely breaks down in his arms.
Gary invited her back to the flat as he himself opens up about Maria’s overprotective behaviour after Liam’s bullying ordeal.
The pair are completely unaware that she’s watching them from her phone via the camera and a drunken pass was made.
Next week, Gary will be completely panicked after learning about the existence of the hidden camera and the compromised position he’s in.
Sarah is left completely mortified and Gary promises to delete the footage as he eyes up his partners phone.
