Coronation Street’s George Shuttleworth apoplectic after Glenda delivers game-changing news

The difficult dynamic between the Shuttleworth siblings continues in Coronation Street next week, as Glenda (Jodie Prenger) tries to take control of the funeral parlour business.

A few weeks ago, Glenda made the discovery her and George’s father Archie left the funeral business in both of their names, not just George’s.

This left Glenda determined to change things, but she faced her brother’s angry wrath multiple times. George refused to let Glenda into the business and even told her it’s a good job he runs the parlour alone, because Glenda is a complete liability!

Despite the somewhat harsh comments from George, Glenda hasn’t given up.

As she continues her plan to try and sue her brother, Glenda also receives a positive distraction in upcoming episodes in the form of Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell).

After spending the night together, Glenda quickly ushers Michael out of the back door of the pub.

Meanwhile, Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) pays a visit to George and explains hiring a mediator would save them both some money. After Mary (Patti Clare) repeats the advice to Glenda, Debbie (Sue Devaney) steps in and offers to do it.

What could possibly go wrong?

Later in the week, when Glenda breaks the news that RestEasy are keen to buy Shuttleworths, George is fuming.

When Michael arrives at the pub and finds the siblings arguing, he steps in, announces that he and Glenda are an item, and George should show her more respect.

Glenda then parks herself next to Michael, kisses him and says she feels the same way.

Aw!

With Michael now on Team Glenda, will his support be enough for her to continue this battle?

The feud will end eventually, but what will Glenda and George’s relationship look like when it does?
