CORONATION Street’s Lauren Bolton’s mystery boyfriend has finally turned up in person – leaving her terrified.

Viewers watched tonight as Lauren got closer to Bobby Crawford when he surprised her with flowers in the cafe.

But as Lauren thanked Bobby for his small bunch of red carnations, she was horrified to receive a huge bouquet from her ex-boyfriend.

Chasing after him, she ended up hurt when he told her that he “didn’t do complicated”.

As Bobby left, Lauren got a phone call but she was furious over it.

“I told you to leave me alone,” she said as she picked it up.

Later she ran into Bobby at Speed Daal where he apologised for his comments and Lauren told him he had nothing to be jealous of.

“Sorry again for upsetting you,” he said.

“It wasn’t just you,” she said. “You don’t need to hear my problems.”

“Was that a what or a who?” Bobby asked, adding: “I don’t know the backstory but I think your ex is off his nut for messing you around.”

Lauren told him: “I’m not special Bobby, not even close. I’ve done some really bad things. In my past for a long time I wasn’t a good person.”

But after he showed such concern for her, Lauren gave him a kiss before taking her food home to eat.

And while she was dancing around her kitchen, clearly happy at her new connection with Bobby, Lauren got a knock on the door.

Going to answer it, as she opened the door her face dropped.

The mystery of her ex-boyfriend deepens but just who is he? Is he already on the cobbles or is he a newcomer?
